Come ring in the New Year with seven of Charlotte County’s most talented singers as they present a pair of 90-minute concert style programs at the Langdon Playhouse, 1182 Market Street, Port Charlotte, on New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, Dec. 31). Join Kevin Borelli, Debbie Brandal, Rachael Dalangauskas, Bill Depew, Meegan DeYoung, Randy Mennella, and Kelly O’Donnell as they bring on the New Year.
Ken Crisp, whose theatrical credentials span decades, is once again producing the directing the annual musicale. In addition to guiding the singers and assisting with their song selection and performance, he will be accompanying the cast on piano, joined by drummer Joel Broome.
“Ken has assembled some singers familiar to our audiences as well as some newcomers,” said Players Executive Director Sherrie Moody. “The show will have something for everyone – something old, something new, something country, something pop, something Broadway and more. We promise great music, laughs and a special champagne toast.”
There are two New Year’s Eve shows, the first at 6:30 p.m. and the second at 9 p.m., so audiences can get where they’re going well before the big ball drops.
Tickets are $25. All seats are reserved, and tickets may be ordered online at www.charlotteplayers.org or by calling the Players office at 941-255-1022.
